Bill's Notes

Practice
Michigan paid $400,000 to put would-be patsy Appalachian State on the schedule. Then the Wolverines lost.

So, a thought: Can you imagine what practice must be like this week. As a friend of mine who played cornerback for Michigan back in the Bump Elliott days said, "This week will be an exercise in humiliation, followed by pain."

Being the resident Michigan fan of this blog --- I can tell you that no one is harder on the Wolverines than a humiliated Wolverine. Coach Carr and his crew made about two million humiliated Wolverine fans last week.

Here are a few links from my favorite Michigan football blog:

There's always something to look forward to in football

As your friend probably knows, this never happens at a Michigan tailgate.

Now, like a moth drawn to the flame, I have to find a place to watch the Oregon game this weekend. Will Oregon be able to pile it on or will they become the first team to lose to the team that lost to App State (who we all give props to)?

Signed,

Waiting for Carr's successor,

Super G
