Difficulty summoning outrage
Hillary Clinton made a joke about "evil, bad men." Around the conservative-o-sphere, some (far from all) have seen this has a gaffe. I disagree. I saw the video. She was funny. Hillary showed a different side of herself, an ability to laugh at herself, and someone comfortable with herself, at least for that moment. That's usually a good thing.
Hillary has been portrayed in times past as a dragon lady, who only stayed with Bill because it gave her access to power. I disagree. What I see is a woman who intellectually believes she believes herself to have built a life on enlightened, feminist principles, and to her dismay finds herself helplessly stuck in an old country song, against her will in love with a no-good cheating dog she knows she'll never have the strength to leave because she doesn't want to.
Anyway, I'm writing this because we better get used to Hillary. We may be seeing a lot of her.
