On injured reserve
Some typing possible with the left arm. Still hurts like hell, but I can at least do it. BTW, I'm proud of y'all. None of you made the obvious joke when I said I'd hurt my forearm. Kudos to you.
While I'm here, some quick opinions:
1. I like El Nino, I like warm winters, and I'm not entirely convinced that Global Warming isn't just a nice break between ice ages that we should all be thankful for.
2. The economy has been booming for years, we've had unemployment low for ages, and the deficit is under control. Don't fuck it up, Dems.
3. Over on my side of the blogosphere, which is called the right for good reason, we've had a series of stupid errors. To wit: John Kerry allegedly sitting alone at a cafeteria in Iraq, the exaggerated demises of both Castro and Khamenei. Let's make more of an effort to remember the fundamentals of confirming info and not making stupid assumptions.
4. Difference between right and left: The left is astonished to learn that there are two sides to every story, and then tend toward excessive credulity.
5. We need to pray to convert Osama Bin Laden to Christianity. The Gospel is for Muslims, too. Pray for our enemies. Where's a St. Francis of Assisi when you need him? Someone needs to go to Waziristan and ask Bin Laden to convert.
6. Apparently there's been a dramatic decline in Catholicism in France. From 80% in 1990 to 51% today. Wow. Big numbers in less than a generation. I don't suppose they all joined the Episcopal Church. Heh. But it's really not funny. It shows just quickly monumental changes can happen.
7. That's all I can do now, both brain and arm shutting down.

1. Agreed.
2. I naturally take exception with "the deficit is under control" ... but perhaps we have different views of out of control.
3. Plenty of errors in the blogosphere.
4. THis applies to just about every human being I know ... when it comes to judging themselves, their party, etc. Fortunately I can make that kind of statement because I'm not the cynical type.
5. I'll pray and keep my fingers crossed too.
6. 51% in France could just represent a huge influx of Muslims from North Africa. I'm sure the story is rather complex.
Take care.
Which might say all that needs to be said about the War on Terror.
Do not think we had not thought of that joke......your girl Rosie Palm was calling:-)
