Meanwhile, back at the First Amendment
Jesse Jackson considers the n-word "unprotected" speech and wants it banned. Hmm ... actually, it's unclear from the article if he's trying to get it banned from mass media. One is a question of public standards (especially voluntary ones), and the other the First Amendment. Which is to say, one is arguable and the other isn't. Pretty obvious, eh?
