Real-Life Lessons
Some lessons I have to relearn every few years or so. And today, I relearned an old lesson: Do not eat a box of chocolate chip cookies because you are hungry. Which reminds of a short exchange from years ago:

Tonia: You ate a whole bag of Chips-ahoy? Why?
Bill: I was hungry. I didn't have anything else in the apartment to eat.
Tonia: That's just like a guy.
Bill: Huh?
Tonia: A woman would do it because she's depressed. Or sad. Or whatever. There would be a reason. Only a guy would eat a bag of cookies because he was hungry.
Bill: Understood. But I still feel sick.

So anyway, tonight I ate one of those small boxes of Entenmann's chocolate-chip cookies. Because I was hungry. And now I feel sick.

I probably shouldn't be left unsupervised for so long.
