Hurricane Katrina looks like the worst natural disaster in the U.S. in many decades. Unknown numbers of our brothers and sisters are dead. New Orleans is destroyed. Other cities in Mississippi and Alabama are severely damaged. And about a million people are left homeless.

What to say except nothing seems important compared with this right now?
