You can't be too grateful, can you?
Enormous gratitude to God. I read the Book of Colossians last night, and it felt like for the first time. It's one of the few places where St. Paul describes who Christ is in some detail, the very image of God, to be filled with the fullness of God, and through Christ all things were made. Then Christ Himself came down from heaven to save us. I sometimes forget this part of the Nicene Creed, and sometimes subconsciously think Jesus was a prophet who through courage and good behavior somehow got the ultimate promotion, an elevation into the Trinity. But instead we believe Christ comes before and created all things.
