Bill's Notes

[Industrialblog, August 24, 2004]
Will you gloat?
After the presidential election, will you gloat and taunt your opponents like the Frenchmen in Holy Grail?

Will you taunt them and then say,"Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time."

P.M. Summer (mail):
There won't be time to gloat. There will be too much work to do cleaning up the mess this faux-Christian bunch of Pharisees has made.

Besides, there is no room in the Gospel for gloating.

Harry (mail) (www):
Dubya has spent the past 3 years and 8 months acting like his razor-thin electoral win was an overwhelming mandate. Does that count as gloating?

I agree with P.M. Summer. The current administration seems to be taking a scorched-earth approach, making sure that if someone else does get into the Oval Office, they'll have to spend at least four years trying to fix the damage Bush and his cronies have done.
