Bill's Notes

A la recherche du temps perdu
I had a good day and a good evening. So why am I thinking about loss? I dunno. Probably not grateful enough. There. Gratitude. That's the difference. Gratitude improves the mood. There is much for which to be grateful. Thanks, God, for everything and everyone in my life. I'm sorry for complaining so much about existence, when you know the alternative would be nonexistence. And nonexistence would just be silly. I have no idea where I was going with this.

I'm a little punchy. But a good day. Hope you all have a good weekend. I'm not promising dog pictures, but I'll try.

Go buy and read G.K. Chesterton's Manalive.

It should only take about 5-6 hours, depending, of course, on how fast you read. I'm a rather slow reader, so it might go faster for you.

But you really need to read this book.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to re-read Chesterton's introduction to the book of Job every day, as well.

Bill,

If you stopped complaining completely, you're blog might become too boring. Do you think we would bother to read a blog where someone blathered on and on about how perfect there life was. Though you do seem to take things kind of seriously. Of course, I waiting for you to hook up with a liberal babe that would perhaps throw a little curve into your life.

However, I'd rather see a little more humor in your complaining.
