Bill's Notes

[Industrialblog, March 30, 2004]
Will the comments reach three digits?
This post currently has 99 comments, a new record here at this obscure outer spiral arm of the blogo-galaxy. We're looking for an even 100, just like Wilt Chamberlain's NBA scoring record.

Only comment if you have something to say. I don't want to "fix" the record. If it remains at 99 until comment sunset, so be it.

UPDATE: We've crossed 100.

OK, it's not that exciting.

I have to confess: when the count was in the 60's, I was going to post a comment about your deadline-avoidance reaching a fever pitch (a follow-up to a comment the previous day or so.) But then I saw that this wasn't a tit-for-tat dialogue between you and a lone commentor, but rather a dogpile of comments, and I thought better of it. So, by rights, there should be at least one more comment there.

Whoops, Daily Show rerun is on. I think Richard Clarke was on. Must go watch.

Well, thanks for the thought, Harry. It's the thought that counts.

Richard Clarke: Who's he?

America's oldest teenager. Used to host American Bandstand. Sheesh.

I didn't realize you were into the Hitchhiker's Guide. I'll lend you the DVD sometime, if you don't have it already.
