The headline should read: Psychopath shoots people because he conflates their political positions with their humanity.

I have to admit, never in my wildest dreams did I think someone would gun down Unitarian Universalists. UUs go out of their way to be nice to everyone and cause no one offense.

RIP to the dead, speedy recovery to the victims, prayers for the family.

My mother is fine (thank God & prayers that continues). But now the old man is in the hospital ... I'll be making a trek down to the Shore to see how he's doing. I talked to him on the phone and he sounds fine. I don't want to put his medical info on the Internet, but let's just say it doesn't sound like a serious thing, but it sounds like he's going to take a while to get better. So it's not a "is it or isn't it?" kind of thing. Besides, it's a good excuse to take a couple of days off and get to the beach.
