Obama, in the original German
Obama has demagogic tendencies: Let's face it. He took the Democratic Party largely through vacuous appeals to emotion and Nuremberg-style rallies. The chants of "O-bam-a, O-bam-a," the fainting spells, the strange conversion stories of Obama stories ... all have been disquieting to more sober and mature observers of the American scene.
To Obama's credit, since he's earned the nomination, he's tried to be more specific. Usually, he's failed to state anything of significance. But a man can't always be judged by his followers. But sometimes, there seems something borderline megalomaniacal about the man, something dictatorial about his demeanor, and something fascist about his supports. He slides backward into reality now and again.
Then he goes and does something like this:

The last thing someone who comes across as a would-be dictator needs is to have a big, emotional political rally in ... drum roll ... Germany. I mean, Germany.
