I support John McCain. I have no idea why conservatives are tearing him to pieces or demonstrating McCain Derangement Syndrome. The perfect is the enemy of the good, you know.

I guess what I like about John McCain is he's his own man. He's not ideologically pure, but so what? When he disagrees with the party line, he says why. His reasons usually make sense. Not everything he's done is good or is something I agree with. Again, so what?

Pretty much anything's better than a Democrat, after all.
